MATH In math I have been learing about solving tape diagrams and box models. I have also learned how to solve a fraction buster. Solving a tape diagram and a box model are similar because it has the same total but your looking for a person or thing to solve and you it your variable. Their is one rule for solving your equation read your equation correctly. What I'm learing right now is finding the distance, time and rate.
In this program Avid I have learned so far about doing Cornell notes. It's has helped me by reviewing my notes for my classes or for my testes that I have for my classes. For example, I had a test of subtracting integer's for Math. I decided to do Cornell notes on subtracting integer's because I have no clue how to get the answers or how to answer the problem that was given to me. Therefore I remembered what my Avid teacher said " If your stuck with something you don't understand. Look up the chapter that you were given for you're test and rewrite the hole interior chapter until you understand the problem or question." Or you can review your study guide but you have to pay attention. The other thing that avid has helped me on is making good questions for Cornell notes. This has helped me because I'm really bad at writing questions. Sometimes it's hard for me to come up with a good question but I'll try my best. When I don't have an idea how to come up with a good question I look at my handout of making good questions. For example, I had to do Cornell notes on Language Arts. My central question was How do you use a plot in a story? And my question of the plot was Why is suspense important in a part of a plot? Avid has helped me a lot with my homework and my testes.
